## About the Role

* Strong commercial Python experience
 * Hands-on Azure DevOps experience, including pipelines, repo strategy, artefacts, and release process
 * Solid CI/CD judgement and ownership of deployment practices
 * Clear communication skills and comfort working directly with stakeholders
 * Willingness to work inside IR35 via an approved umbrella or PAYE route
 * Useful extras: wider Azure experience, FastAPI, Flask, Django, Terraform, or Bicep

## Description

* Develop and maintain Python services and tooling
 * Own CI/CD in Azure DevOps, including YAML pipelines, environments, approvals, and releases
 * Improve build, test, and deploy practice, not just deliver features
 * Work directly with non-technical colleagues and help unblock delivery
 * Operate at pace in a busy environment with changing priorities

 * Slack, We are offering a contract Python Developer role focused on building software and owning how it gets into production. This is a hybrid UK position with an inside IR35 engagement and a day rate depending on experience. We work closely with delivery, product, and stakeholders, and we value clear communication, practical problem-solving, and the ability to keep work moving in a fast-paced environment. Immediate or short-notice start is preferred, though the start date is flexible.
