## About the Role

* 3 years experience in a DevOps role, ideally within a security-focused or highly regulated environment.
 * Strong Azure expertise, including the design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure.
 * Proven experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitLab CI.
 * Experience designing and managing complex Microsoft-based infrastructure environments.
 * Hands-on knowledge of containerisation and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
 * Solid understanding of networking, infrastructure security, and Windows/Linux system administration.
 * Experience implementing GitOps principles and modern deployment strategies.
 * Working knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies and best practices.
 * Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash and/or Python to automate operational tasks.
 * Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and technical documentation skills.
 * Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
 * Professional certifications in cloud technologies and/or DevOps practices (e.g. Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes).
 * Full UK driving licence.

## Description

* Design, build, and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines.
 * Optimise Azure and on-premises application environments.
 * Maintain monitoring, logging, and performance across platforms.
 * Embed security best practices and ensure ISO/compliance standards.
 * Develop scripts and tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
 * Partner with Development and IT teams to support application delivery and resolve deployment issues.
 * Manage incidents, requests, and problem resolution across the DevOps and application stack.
