The role combines high-level control-plane development in Go with low-level dataplane and systems engineering, primarily involving C and open-source technologies. You will contribute to secure networking services including virtual networks, load balancers, firewalls, security groups, and connectivity features. A key focus will be improving scalability, resilience, performance, and stability across critical cloud infrastructure. You will investigate challenging networking, datapath, kernel, and performance issues while collaborating with experienced engineers across the platform. This is an opportunity to work on foundational infrastructure where your engineering decisions directly influence the reliability of cloud services.
