Security Clearance: Existing SC or CTC preferred. SC eligibility required., * Strong commercial experience with Java 8+

 * Experience building cloud-based Microservices
 * Strong knowledge of:
 + Spring Boot
 + Maven
 + Guice
 + JUnit
 + PostgreSQL
 * Experience using Git-based source control tools such as Bitbucket/Git
 * Agile/Scrum delivery experience

Desirable Skills

 * AWS cloud services
 * Kubernetes
 * Helm
 * Jenkins
 * CI/CD pipelines and build automation
 * Experience supporting applications through to production environments

## Description

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a high-profile cloud transformation programme, working within a Scrum team responsible for developing and supporting services across a large-scale AWS-hosted microservices architecture.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, enterprise-level systems, contributing across the full software development lifecycle while collaborating with highly skilled engineers in a modern cloud environment., * Design, develop and maintain Java-based microservices

 * Write clean, scalable and well-tested code
 * Perform unit testing and support integration testing activities
 * Conduct and approve peer code reviews (PR reviews)
 * Manage code promotion through multiple environments into production
 * Support CI/CD best practices and release processes
 * Mentor and develop junior team members
 * Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects and Scrum team members
