About You You may currently be working as a Solutions Architect, Software Architect, Technical Architect or Lead Software Engineer and be looking for a position that combines technical architecture with greater customer and commercial involvement. You will have the technical credibility to work effectively with software engineering teams, while being equally comfortable engaging with customers and senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will be able to look beyond the immediate technical requirement, understand what the customer is trying to achieve and determine how existing or new technology can provide the right solution. ## Description This is a senior technical role combining software architecture, Azure Local, cloud technology and customer engagement. You will work closely with software engineers, internal stakeholders and external clients to understand business challenges and translate them into practical, scalable technology solutions. A key focus of the role will be designing new software products for Azure Local, while identifying opportunities to reuse, adapt and expand existing software solutions into new applications and markets. The position has no direct reports, but you will provide technical leadership within a matrix-managed team.
