One of our direct client is urgently looking for a Software Engineer @ Sunnyvale, CATITLE: Software Engineer ( IBM Sterling Support /DevOps)LOCATION: Sunnyvale CA Duration: 6 to 12+ Months Rate: DOEClient Notes

 * Work involves supporting IBM Sterling Commerce application.
 * Need 2+ years of experience with supporting Sterling Commerce.
 * Work involves support and DevOps related tasks, not much of development, Description: The Software Engineer position will be responsible for hands-on development as well as lead the development of Next Generation Enterprise solutions for Global eCommerce. SE will be responsible for application development in support of the multi-platform roadmap. Responsible for application architecture, ensure high performance, scalability and availability for those applications. Areas of responsibility include:* Experience supporting IBM Sterling Application* Develop Batch Jobs using Java and SQL.* Troubleshoot business and production issues* Alerting and Monitoring Subject Matter Expert (Splunk, Dynatrace, and other Enterprise Logging Tools)* Develops Innovation strategies, processes, failover experience* Experience in driving high availability across multiple applications* Act quickly to analyze the available data and find the root cause of the problem when issues with the product arise* Develop a solution themselves or pass the problem on to other engineering team members
