## About the Role

* Professional experience developing applications with RPG on the IBM i platform
 * Experience with RPG IV, ILE RPG, CL, and DB2 for i
 * Experience maintaining and enhancing existing applications
 * Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills
 * Ability to work effectively with technical and business teams
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience with Free-Form RPG
 * Experience with ASNA Visual RPG
 * Experience supporting Accounts Receivable or financial applications
 * Familiarity with IBM i system administration concepts
 * Experience with SQL, web services, or system integrations
 * Experience with ERP systems or application modernization initiatives

## Description

The RPG Programmer will develop, maintain, and enhance applications on the IBM i (AS/400) platform. This role will support existing applications, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to application modernization and integration initiatives., * Develop, maintain, and enhance RPG applications on the IBM i (AS/400) platform

 * Work with RPG III, RPG IV, ILE RPG, and Free-Form RPG
 * Maintain applications developed with ASNA Visual RPG
 * Translate business requirements into technical solutions
 * Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues
 * Support application modernization, system integration, and performance improvement initiatives
 * Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business teams
 * Maintain technical documentation and follow established development standards
 * Participate in scheduled production support and on-call support as needed, RPG Developer, RPG Development, IBM Iseries, AS/400, RPG III, RPG IV, ILE RPG, Free-Form RPG, ASNA Visual RPG, DB2
