Technical * Strong with Laravel (or modern PHP frameworks) and modern frontend tools (React, Next.js, or Vue), XDebug, writing unit tests. * Front and Back end Engineering expertise. * Mobile (React Native) * Experience working in ISO/SOC2 compliant environments * Understands accessibility, scalability, and localisation for global users * Comfortable operating in cloud-native stacks using AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), CI/CD pipelines, and observability tooling * Experienced in designing within and around a modular monolith architecture * Skilled in relational databases (Aurora MySQL, PostgreSQL), with a strong focus on data modelling for scale and performance AI Driven Skills (Big Plus) * Feature delivery velocity (Copilot, Gemini, test automation, scaffolding) * Building AI-augmented product experiences (LLM API usage, prompt design) * Coaching others on integrating GenAI into workflows Character & Mindset * Resilient and adaptable - You embrace change and help others navigate ambiguity with calm and confidence. * Proactive problem solver - You identify issues early, take ownership, and push solutions forward without waiting to be asked. * Clear communicator - You articulate ideas clearly, write well, and listen with intent. You'll contribute to the evolution of our platform architecture, influence engineering practices, and ship features that support some of the world's largest volunteer programs. You'll play a key role in our transition to a principle-led, product-focused engineering model - with a strong emphasis on scalability, quality, documentation, and collaboration. This is a senior-level role requiring demonstrated experience in SaaS, cloud-native environments, and modern software development practices. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer you're comfortable transitioning between front and back end development using your systems thinking skills to create world class experiences for our customers.
