Acceptable certifications include CCNA-Security/CySA+/GICSP/GSEC/Security+ CE/CND/SSCP) Preferred Qualifications: * Strong understanding of essential TCP/IP concepts: TCP, UDP, ICMP, SMTP, SNMP,LDAP, DNS, NTP, etc. * Understanding of security best practices and federal hardening requirements (FISMA,STIG, etc.) * Senior-level experience with the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale systems, preferably across multiple hardware platforms and data centers * Strong understanding of high availability concepts with practical experience and implementation of key components in storage environments * Keep abreast of current developments in storage and backup technology to assist Federal staff in assessing the future direction of storage and backup technology Clearance Requirements: * Must have a current active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph Physical Requirements: * Sedentary work, speaking, standing, talking, walking, working with computers, working with data, working with numbers and figures, ability to handle stress & work under pressure, ability to use MS Office and a PC, analytical or critical thinking skills, leadership and listening skills, multi-tasking, ability, negotiating skills, oral & written communication skills, presentation skills, project management ability and skills, computer operating skills, and team building skills, Analysis Skills, Architectural Design, Best Practices, CCNA -
