## About the Role

* Hands-on Database Administration experience.
 * Working Knowledge in at least one of: DB2, Sybase ASE, MongoDB.
 * Good understanding of:
 * Database administration and support
 * Troubleshooting and performance analysis
 * SQL and database architecture
 * Database upgrades and migrations
 * Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
 * Ability to work independently in a production support environment.
 * Experience with two of the following: DB2, Sybase ASE, MongoDB.
 * Experience supporting database/data center migrations.
 * Exposure to AutoSys.
 * Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.
 * Knowledge of HA/DR concepts.

## Description

* Database Administrator with hands-on experience in enterprise database administration and production support.
 * Must have experience/exposure with any two technologies: DB2, or Sybase ASE, or Mongo DB.
 * Provide L2/L3 database administration and production support.
 * Administer, monitor, and maintain DB2, Sybase ASE, and/or Mongo DB environments.
 * Perform database administration tasks including backup/recovery, monitoring, health checks, and user management.
 * Troubleshoot database issues and perform performance analysis and tuning.
 * Support database upgrades, migrations, patching, and configuration changes.
 * Participate in database/data center migration projects.
 * Work closely with application, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure database availability and stability.
