* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or closely-related discipline.
 * Master's Degree in Computer Science (or closely-related discipline) or extensive industry experience in programming or software engineering.
 * Course work in computer science beyond the level of the course being taught.
 * Evidence of ability to successfully teach diverse student populations.
 * Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills.
 * Commitment to inclusive practices and working with diverse student populations.
 * Successful interview.
 * Successful teaching demonstration for class teaching assignments.
 * Successful completion of three background checks.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Master's Degree in Computer Science (or closely-related discipline).
 * Prior college-level teaching experience.

## Description

The department of Computer Science is accepting applications for part-time instructor responsible for teaching undergraduate computer science courses on an as-needed basis. The Computer Science Department at times needs temporary part-time Instructors to fill in for faculty on sabbaticals or leaves., * Copies of registrar-issued transcripts for all degrees conferred and in progress.

 * Two letters of professional reference dated within the last 12 months.
