## Description

Provide Level 2 production support for backend services and APIs that ingest IoT telemetry Support cloud based applications hosted on Azure and GCP Understand and operate within event driven architectures and message pipelines Perform end to end issue tracing across the stack: device edge cloud application Troubleshoot application, batch, and data flow issues using established runbooks and SOPs Perform basic application debugging and validation (Java, Python, C#, or Shell)

Data & Telemetry

Support ingestion and processing of time series and telemetry data Validate data accuracy, latency, completeness, and ingestion health Investigate data discrepancies using basic SQL and log queries Support databases such as Cosmos DB, MySQL, MongoDB, BigQuery, and Cassandra Analyze telemetry flows and downstream impacts during incidents

Monitoring & Alerting

Monitor system health using tools such as Application Insights, Splunk, Datadog, Grafana, or equivalent Interpret alerts, logs, and metrics to identify and isolate issues Proactively identify failure patterns and recurring issues Support alert tuning and validation to reduce noise and improve signal quality

Incident Management

Handle Sev 1 and Sev 2 production incidents under defined SLAs Perform incident triage, investigation, mitigation, and escalation to L3 where required Participate in incident bridges and provide timely, accurate updates Contribute to root cause analysis (RCA), corrective actions, and post incident reviews Manage incidents, changes, and problem records using ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM tools

Reliability & Operations

Operate with a KTLO mindset-focused on uptime, stability, and operational excellence Understand and work against SLAs, SLOs, MTTR, and operational KPIs Support 24x7 production environments, including on call rotations Execute deployments and validations using CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, ArgoCD) Support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes Escalate systemic or recurring issues with clear diagnostics and supporting data
