Working within the Service Support Team, you will provide technical support and system administration across a range of ICT, mobilising, telephony and management information systems, while working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure services remain effective, secure and reliable. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong IT and system support experience who enjoys problem-solving, continuous improvement and delivering excellent customer service., * Excellent communication skills. * Excellent influencing and negotiation skills. * Significant experience in records management. * Competent in the use of Microsoft 365 applications. * General understanding of IT systems and infrastructure. * Comfortable working in an environment of ambiguity and change. * Well-developed written communication skills. * Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. * Competent in the use and administration of mobile and digital phone technology. Desirable Criteria * Experience in information governance and information security. * Knowledge of Fire & Rescue Service systems such as Rappel, FireWatch and FloSuite. * Understanding of project management principles and methodologies. * Knowledge of the Fire & Rescue Service operational environment., Please be advised that the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 now includes the requirement for Fire and Rescue Service employees to have a standard DBS check as a minimum.
