Strong background in manufacturing ERP, ideally within steelmaking, metals, or heavy industrial environments. Demonstrated success delivering large-scale change management in operational and shop-floor settings. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including:Production planning & scheduling Inventory & materials management (MRP) Quality and traceability Costing and operational reporting Knowledge of MES, automation, or integration with shop-floor systems. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 - 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks. ## Description This role is based at our 64-acre site, sitting in the heart of Sheffield, and will be working as part of our IT Team. Our IT department ensures that all digital systems, infrastructure, software, and data operations run smoothly to support the organisation. As an ERP Lead, you will be accountable for the successful implementation, optimisation, and ongoing ownership of Infor LN CloudSuite within Sheffield Forgemasters. This role bridges IT, operations, and the shop floor, ensuring that standard Infor LN processes are adopted across the business, aligned with the Infor Process Catalogue (IPC) model, and embedded through effective change management. What you'll be doing Lead the implementation, rollout and continuous improvement of the Infor LN CloudSuite ERP system across the business. Drive the adoption of standard ERP processes to support manufacturing, production, quality, inventory and supply chain operations. Partner with operational teams to translate complex heavy engineering and steel manufacturing processes into effective ERP solutions. Champion business transformation by replacing legacy processes with scalable, best-practice ERP ways of working. Develop and deliver change management, communication and user training to maximise engagement and adoption. Establish robust business processes, master data governance and data quality standards to support operational excellence. Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, IT teams and external implementation partners, providing functional leadership throughout the ERP programme.
