## Description

A leading Investment Bank is looking for a Lead Engineer to help shape the next generation of front-office trading technology. This is a hands-on engineering role with significant influence over architecture, platform direction and the delivery of business-critical applications used by trading teams.

You'll work on modernising a large-scale technology estate, building high-performance systems and partnering closely with users to solve complex workflow and data challenges.

What You Will Be Doing:

 * Designing and building scalable, real-time applications that support trading and market-facing workflows
 * Leading technical design across backend services, APIs and user-facing applications
 * Working directly with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technology solutions
 * Driving adoption of modern engineering practices, testing approaches and development standards
 * Contributing to architectural decisions across distributed, event-driven platforms
 * Helping evolve platform capabilities, tooling and deployment processes
