## About the Role

Are you a highly analytical Senior Analyst with exceptionally strong SQL skills and experience working with large volumes of data? If yes - read on! This is an opportunity to join a global sports and technology business where you'll work across customer behaviour, audience analytics, digital engagement and product experimentation. You'll be joining a growing analytics function at an exciting point in its product journey, with the opportunity to move increasingly closer to Product Analytics while remaining hands-on with data. If you're someone who enjoys working with millions of rows of data, solving complex analytical problems and understanding what makes digital users engage, this could be a great fit., * Strong SQL skills, with experience working with large-scale datasets, ideally millions of rows or events.

 * Experience analysing digital customer behaviour.
 * Exposure to A/B testing, experimentation or product analytics.
 * Experience working with a cloud data warehouse.
 * A genuinely curious, investigative approach to data.

You don't need to have used BigQuery specifically - the business is open to candidates from different cloud environments; what's most important is that you can demonstrate excellent SQL skills and experience working with significant volumes of data. The ideal candidate will be a digital-native generalist who enjoys getting stuck into different analytical problems rather than being restricted to one particular area.

## Description

This is a Senior Data Analyst position with a strong focus on understanding users, audiences and digital engagement. The successful candidate will work across a broad range of analytical problems, including:

 * Customer and audience analytics
 * User behaviour
 * Product engagement
 * Event tracking and measurement
 * A/B testing and experimentation
 * Segmentation
 * Product analytics

The business is increasingly investing in its product experience, including interactive features, games and improved account functionality. You'll help answer questions around who users are, what they want, how they behave and what keeps them coming back. A key part of the role will be working with event-level data to understand user journeys and measure the impact of changes to the product. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering and other stakeholders to ensure the right data is being captured, analysed and turned into actionable insight. You will be working directly with large datasets and using data to influence how digital products are developed. The role will also increasingly move towards Product Analytics, making it particularly attractive for someone currently working in Customer, Audience or Digital Analytics who wants to take that next step.
