## Description

* Design, build, and maintain automation for patching production SQL Server Always On Availability Group clusters without unplanned service loss.
 * Automate availability group discovery based on the live estate state.
 * Automate pre-patch procedures, including replica role changes and service stops.
 * Orchestrate patch wave order, failover, and failback to ensure continuous availability.
 * Automate suppression and restoration of monitoring alerts during patch cycles.
 * Integrate patching automation with scheduled jobs and existing maintenance workflows.
 * Provide verification and rollback steps at each automation stage for safety and reusability.

Critical Information

 * No remote work; on-site in Dallas, TX.
 * Standard shift, with planned maintenance windows and adherence to change management practices.
 * Partner with teams for window planning, vulnerability remediation, and compliance processes.
