## Description

The ideal candidate will serve as a core mainframe expert, utilizing a deep technical stack including CICS, DB2, Elixir, Endevor, IMS, and JCL. Additional experience with middleware and MQ is highly beneficial.

Your core focus will involve:

 * Utilizing thorough knowledge of the Z/OS operating system, its interrelationships, and overall functionality.
 * Providing comprehensive configuration management and release management support and guidance for Endevor software.
 * Applying advanced knowledge of SQL programming language, techniques, and utilities to support DB2.
 * Evaluating complex SQL queries to recommend performance tuning adjustments and cost-saving measures.
 * Delivering CICS administration, troubleshooting, and debugging support while interfacing seamlessly with application developers and DIT personnel.
