## About the Role

This position requires strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, and to interface with software developers, test engineers, other system engineers, program management, quality assurance engineers, and customer representatives., * Experience and full knowledge of processes in one or more of the following areas:

 - Trade Studies
 - Systems Engineering approach and processes
 - Requirement definition, decomposition, and allocation
 - Interface definition (ICD, IBDs, IDDs)
 - Performing System Integration
 - Support to major reviews
 - Writing Specifications

 * Working Knowledge of Cameo/ Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
 * Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance; US Citizenship Required
 * Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related technical field and/or equivalent experience

Desired Skills

 * Capable of working both independently and within a small team environment.
 * Knowledge and application of systems engineering processes across the full product life cycle (to include proposal, design, qualification, requirements verification/validation, production and field support)
 * Formal or informal team leadership experience including coaching and giving performance feedback
 * CONOPS or Architecture Development
 * Strong prior experience with use of Cameo and DOORS

 * Reviews and validates product deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and design specifications.
 * Defines, documents, and enforces SE team processes.
 * Ensures compliance with established procedures and promotes best practices across the team
 * Support and conduct formal and informal engineering technical reviews.
 * Lead system interface development, as captured in Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Interface Design Descriptions (IDDs), by converting system and interface requirements into message-level details sufficient to coordinate interface development.
