Desired KSA * Be a positive, self-motivated, and proactive person with the ability to adapt to change and tolerate stressful situations * Candidate must communicate effectively with team members, team lead, management, and government customers * Must have the ability and desire to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems with minimal supervision Minimum Training, Education, and Certifications * Two (2) years' experience in an advisory/managerial position supporting DoW or Federal enterprise infrastructure. This includes evaluating, manufacturing, and integrating enterprise-level storage and backup software technologies. * Five (5) years hands-on experience with enterprise SAN (Storage Area Network) management to include capabilities and technologies such as: Fiber Channel zoning, iSCSI, FCoE (Fiber Channel over Ethernet) unified fabric, HBA/CNA (Host Bus Adapter/Converged Network Adapter), storage controllers, and LUN (Logical Unit Number), RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks), and file sharing / NAS (Network Addressable Storage). Hands-on experience with enterprise hierarchical storage system management; operation of enterprise backup/restore services, using software such as Cohesity DataProtect. * Five (5) years hands-on experience working with Department of War (DoW) IT systems. * DOD 8140 baseline certification - IAT Level II * Computing Environment certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert or relevant certification. We are hiring an Information Technology Subject Matter Expert to support an enterprise-level program within a federal environment., Information Technology Subject Matter Expert serves as an MIS Manager responsible for designing, developing, and implementing risk assessment and business continuity frameworks across a large, decentralized organization. Provides technical expertise and customer support for enterprise applications, automation solutions, open systems, and client/server environments, including multilingual, multiplatform, and multi-operating system infrastructures. Analyzes data processing and system requirements, plans system installations and upgrades, and develops applications leveraging Internet protocols and platforms. Evaluates emerging technologies and recommends solutions to meet business and operational needs. Designs, integrates, and troubleshoots network infrastructure, including routers, switches, routed networks, Frame Relay, static and dynamic routing, Ethernet and Token Ring topologies, network discovery, polling, and Cisco and 3Com technologies., * Required to stand, walk and sit; communicate verbally both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds.
