U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance., * Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs when not specifically asked or directed; and to propose, plan, execute, and deliver solutions to meet those needs. * Expert knowledge of U.S. private remote sensing industry frontrunners, leading technologies, emerging activities, or other space industry capabilities. * Hands-on experience designing, developing, and/or operating space systems; experience with imagery analysis, image formation, or using image products operationally. * Possess an active TS/SCI clearance ## Description * Leveraging expertise in a wide range of technical areas related to remote sensing system capabilities, including: ground networks; cloud-based satellite operations; mission operations and flight control; satellite bus and payload design, integration, and control; orbit mechanics; satellite decay/deorbit analysis; communications systems; optical sensor characteristics; or radiofrequency performance characteristics. These activities range across phenomenologies to include electro-optical and SAR (or other radiofrequency) remote sensing modalities. * Providing dedicated support to CRSRA. * Planning and conducting analyses pertaining to the licensing and compliance of private remote sensing space systems, evaluating technical collection capabilities, system architecture, and operational activities. * Conducting technical assessments of system capabilities to evaluate compliance with Federal law, regulations, and NOAA licenses via technical review, monitoring, and inquiries to the operators. * Coordinating key subject-matter experts to develop, execute, and deliver technical consultation to the CRSRA federal staff . * Interfacing with a wide range of CRSRA's U.S. Government partners on matters of licensing and compliance important to national security. * Participating in the development and execution of investigative plans, including on-site inspection of private remote sensing space system ground components, manufacturing facilities, mission control centers, and other infrastructure. * Delivering comprehensive reports and analysis documenting technical specifications, capabilities, recommendations, and exploratory research to aid in the decision-making of CRSRA staff. ## Related Videos - [Data Science in Retail](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/586-data-science-in-retail) - [Robots are coming into the wild!
