## About the Role

* Three or more years of IT experience.
 * Experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows workstations.
 * Experience with patch management, vulnerability remediation, and DoD system-hardening requirements.
 * Active Security+, SecurityX/CASP+, CISSP, or equivalent DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II or III certification.
 * Ability to work independently in a technical laboratory environment.

Security Clearance

 * An interim DoD Secret clearance or higher is required to start. The selected candidate must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Linux and Windows Server administration.
 * Virtual machine and storage administration.
 * Microsoft NAP/RADIUS authentication.
 * HBSS management.
 * Development of system and network diagrams.

## Description

* Troubleshoot Windows workstation hardware, software, and operating system issues.
 * Support system integration, workstation lifecycle, and specialized software installation, maintenance, and removal.
 * Administer Active Directory and support Windows-based environments.
 * Manage ServiceNow (SNOW) tickets, service requests, and technical documentation.
 * Perform patch management, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening in accordance with DoD requirements.
 * Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and develop required compliance artifacts.
 * Maintain hardware and software inventory records and support Information Assurance compliance activities.
 * Create and maintain system, network, and configuration documentation.
 * Research commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and open-source software solutions.
 * Perform other duties as assigned.
