CompTIA Security+ CE is the preferred certification. In addition, must attain the required DoD 8570 Computing Environment (CE) Certification within six (6) months of Hire Date. As part of your role/function on the program, you will be granted privileged user access. Privileged Users are subject to greater scrutiny as a direct result of the significant responsibilities placed upon them. Privileged Users are subject to a zero-tolerance policy for security violations. ## Description As a Mission Hardware Engineer, you will provide installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support of information systems and related peripheral hardware to a mission critical program. * Screen, refer and diagnose internal inquiries and work requests as they relate to maintenance of computers and related systems * Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software * Provide end-user hardware and software troubleshooting and support * Replace network and fiber cable * Decommission old systems * Install, configure, and maintain VTCs, TVs, and phone systems * Coordinate development of deliverables and products * Must be able to track project studies, plans, action items, etc. * Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies assigned * Participate in special projects as required
