## About the Role

* Proven experience building and maintaining UI automation suites with a modern framework (Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress)
 * Automation scripting in Java and/or JavaScript/TypeScript
 * Experience automating tests for both web and mobile applications
 * Performance and load testing with tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6
 * API test automation (e.g., REST Assured, Postman)
 * SQL proficiency for automating data validation (Snowflake experience a plus)
 * Version control with Git (Bitbucket a plus), * Exposure to security testing tools or practices (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, dependency/vulnerability scanning)
 * Mobile test automation experience with Appium (we have a React Native mobile app)
 * CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps)
 * Experience in the financial services industry

## Description

* Design and write automated test cases covering the entire UI
 * Build and maintain automated coverage across web applications, the mobile app, and customer-facing portals
 * Automate data validation checks against Snowflake to catch pipeline and reporting regressions
 * Create and maintain the automation suite for both existing and new applications
 * Conduct stress testing, load testing, and performance benchmarking
 * Perform security testing, including automated security scans, vulnerability checks, and validation of authentication and access controls, with the goal of growing into a broader security engineering role over time
 * Establish and track performance baselines to catch regressions before they reach production
 * Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines so coverage runs continuously
