## About the Role

 * Experience developing, deploying, or supporting machine learning systems.
 * Experience with machine learning frameworks, programming languages, or ML development platforms.
 * Understanding of model training, validation, deployment, inference, monitoring, and testing.
 * Strong programming, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
 * Ability to work onsite in Arlington, Virginia., * Prior experience supporting DoD or federal government environments.
 * Experience with MLOps and automated ML pipelines.
 * Experience with model serving and inference platforms.
 * Experience with model monitoring, performance tracking, or explainability.
 * Experience with scalable cloud or platform infrastructure supporting ML workloads.

## Description

The JAAW Group LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to support the War Data Platform (WDP) Core Integration effort in support of the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO). This role will support the development, deployment, automation, monitoring, and continued improvement of machine learning capabilities within secure Department of Defense environments. The Machine Learning Engineer will collaborate with AI, data, software, cloud, and cybersecurity teams across the ML lifecycle., * Develop infrastructure for training, validating, deploying, and operating machine learning models.

 * Design and implement automated machine learning pipelines.
 * Build and maintain model-serving capabilities supporting efficient inference.
 * Develop reusable ML components, libraries, and engineering utilities.
 * Implement MLOps practices supporting continuous integration and deployment of models.
 * Develop tools and processes for model monitoring, performance tracking, and explainability.
 * Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data pipelines meet machine learning requirements.
 * Develop testing frameworks and maintain technical documentation for ML components and processes.
