Knowledge of SCADA, OMS, and backfeeding/switching procedures is strongly desired. * Licensing & Safety: Valid driver's license required. Farmers EC is currently seeking an System Operations Supervisor to join our rapidly growing electric cooperative. The System Operations Supervisor oversees all aspects of the cooperative's system communications, delivering a responsive and reliable flow of information between members, field crews, staff, other utilities, and emergency personnel. This position plays a critical role in managing dispatch operations and ensuring the quick resolution of both planned and unplanned system disturbances., * System Operations & Dispatch: Supervise system operators and coordinate switching operations to maintain continuous, reliable power distribution. * Outage & Emergency Response: Process outage calls, direct response crews to remedy power interruptions, and ensure full compliance with the cooperative's Emergency Operations Plan. * Grid Monitoring & SCADA: Utilize SCADA and Outage Management Systems (OMS) to monitor grid conditions, analyze outage data, and operate electrical equipment remotely to mitigate threats and improve system reliability. * Compliance & Mapping: Oversee daily logs, power system diagrams, and system map updates.
