## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
 * 10+ years of experience in software development, engineering, or technology roles
 * 3+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams
 * Experience leading teams delivering cloud-based and enterprise applications
 * Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks
 * Strong understanding of software development methodologies, Agile practices, and modern engineering principles
 * Familiarity with API development, application integration, and scalable system design
 * Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
 * Experience working within DevOps or DevSecOps environments is a plus

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Engineering Manager in Findlay Ohio, Houston Texas, Denver or San Antonio. Summary: We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of software engineers responsible for delivering innovative, scalable, and secure digital solutions. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and strategic planning to support the development of next-generation business applications and platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong software engineering background, experience leading technical teams, and a passion for driving high-quality software delivery in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

 * Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers across multiple disciplines
 * Drive the delivery of technology solutions using Agile and modern software development practices
 * Partner with product, architecture, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver business value
 * Support technical decision-making, solution design, and engineering best practices
 * Establish team priorities, roadmaps, and delivery plans aligned with business objectives
 * Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability
 * Manage staffing, performance management, employee development, and team growth
