Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Scrum Master - **Company:** Credence Management Solutions, LLC - **Location:** McLean, VA, United States - **Experience:** Experienced - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Agile Methodology, Artificial Intelligence, JIRA, Machine Learning, Scrum Methodology, Software Engineering - **Published:** September 22, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.clearancejobs.com/jobs/9182528/scrum-master ## About the Role * Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile practitioner, and demonstrated experience performing business analysis (requirements gathering, elicitation, and documentation) * Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile principles * Proven ability to gather and clarify requirements from stakeholders and translate them into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria * Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles * Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills * Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices * Familiarity with SAFe methodologies (certification a plus, not required) * Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques * Advanced proficiency with Jira, including workflows, boards, dashboards, and reporting * Experience supporting PI Planning in a scaled or multi-team environment * Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams * An active Secret Security Clearance are required. ## Description Credence has an immediate need for a Scrum Master with strong experience to support high-performing, cross-functional teams delivering value through Agile practices - including teams building and integrating AI/ML capabilities. The ideal candidate is a servant leader with strong Jira expertise who can guide teams in adhering to established workflows while continuously improving how work flows through the system.
