## About the Role

* Possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
 * You have 8+ years of experience in IT support or system administration roles.
 * You bring strong expertise in Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems for both desktop and server environments.
 * You have a solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, including DNS, DHCP, and routing concepts.
 * You're experienced with Active Directory, identity management, and endpoint software deployment.
 * You possess knowledge of corporate security frameworks, vulnerability management, and patch management.
 * You're proactive, service-oriented, and bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 * You have the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in an international environment.
 * You are fluent in Dutch with fluency in English.

Nice to Haves

 * Experience supporting scientific, laboratory, or manufacturing environments.
 * Previous experience coordinating technical activities across multiple stakeholders.

## Description

* Provide first-line and advanced technical support for laboratory workstations, instruments, and IT infrastructure.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network-related issues to maintain operational uptime.
 * Lead technical initiatives and coordinate with global support teams and vendors for system resolutions.
 * Support the planning, deployment, and migration of new laboratory IT solutions and infrastructure projects.
 * Ensure compliance with corporate cybersecurity policies, including patch management and vulnerability remediation.
 * Engage with laboratory users to translate business requirements into effective technical IT solutions.
