You can look at a funnel and form a hypothesis about it. * Able to explain and defend design decisions to people who will push back, and to change your mind when they're right. * Experience building or maintaining a design system. * Self-directed. You can pick up a vague problem and come back with something concrete. * Fluent English, written and spoken. ## Description You'll join the Product team in our Netherlands studio, working alongside product managers, game designers, producers and developers. Our live titles include Online Soccer Manager, Football Head Coach, Ultimate Football Manager and Mini Football. These are mature games with large player bases, so the UX work is rarely a blank page. It's usually about growing experiences that players already know well and have strong opinions about. You'll be the voice of the player within the team, grounding design decisions in research and data rather than assumption. We're looking for someone with a few games behind them who can own the UX of a feature without much hand-holding. What will you be doing at Miniclip? * Wireframe and prototype features in Figma, from rough flows through to detailed screens that developers and artists can build from. * Run user research: moderated and unmoderated tests, surveys, and other sources that can help answer the question in front of you. * Build and maintain UX design systems and patterns, and keep them coherent across the games you work on. * Review feature specs and roadmap plans from a user experience angle, early enough to influence them, and say clearly when something is going to confuse or frustrate players. * Work with game designers and PMs on the shape of a feature, not just the screens it ends up needing. * Balance your time across projects and be transparent about what you're prioritising and what you're not. * Look at how competitors and games outside our genre solve similar problems, and bring back what's useful. * Partner with artists on handoff. You define structure, hierarchy and flow, they take it to final art. ## Related Videos - [Boost Productivity with AI: Figma & Playwright MCP Workflows - Aris Markogiannakis](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1768-boost-productivity-with-ai-figma-playwright-mcp-workflows-aris-markogiannakis) - [UX is a fullstack job!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1020-ux-is-a-fullstack-job) - [Fireside Chat with Kris Rasmussen, CTO at Figma](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/982-fireside-chat-with-kris-rasmussen-cto-at-figma) - [Designing the Future of Human<>Agent Collaboration](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1447-designing-the-future-of-human-agent-collaboration) - [The irresistible UX: the psychology of brainwaves and clickbait](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1584-the-irresistible-ux-the-psychology-of-brainwaves-and-clickbait) - [UX in the Dev Cycle: Moving from Handoff to Handshake](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1467-ux-in-the-dev-cycle-moving-from-handoff-to-handshake) ## Related Articles - [10 Essential Figma Plugins for Frontend Developers in 2023](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/262-10-essential-figma-plugins-for-frontend-developers-in-2023) - [Top 5 Web Design Trends for 2023](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/155-top-5-web-design-trends-for-2023) - [The future is here: How artificial intelligence is influencing UX design](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/65-the-future-is-here-how-artificial-intelligence-is-influencing-ux-design) - [16 Best Free React UI Libraries in 2025](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/148-16-best-free-react-ui-libraries-in-2025) - [Dev Digest 133 - Back to Front](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/474-dev-digest-133-back-to-front) - [Web Developer Portfolio Inspiration and Examples - March 2025](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/561-web-developer-portfolio-inspiration-and-examples-march-2025)
