## About the Role

* Previous experience in a Data Analyst / Data Management role.
 * Strong experience with data quality, profiling and data analysis.
 * Good understanding of metadata, data lineage, classification and taxonomies.
 * Strong SQL and Python skills.
 * Exposure to AI/ML concepts, particularly model monitoring, bias, drift and performance testing.
 * Experience working within a regulated environment, ideally insurance or financial services.
 * Understanding of GDPR, data protection and responsible AI principles.
 * Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

## Description

A leading insurance business is looking for a Data Management Analyst to join their Data Governance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is a broad data role covering data quality, metadata, taxonomy and emerging AI governance, working closely with Digital, Risk, Compliance and wider business teams., * Develop and maintain data quality rules, profiling routines and reporting dashboards.

 * Support metadata, classification, taxonomy and data labelling across the business.
 * Monitor data and AI systems, including areas such as bias, drift and performance.
 * Analyse data to identify trends, anomalies, risks and potential areas for improvement.
 * Maintain clear documentation around data lineage, processes, controls and governance.
 * Support data and AI risk assessments and wider governance activities.
 * Carry out root-cause analysis, reporting and other ad-hoc analytical work.
 * Work with stakeholders across Digital, Risk & Compliance, DPO and business teams.
