* C++ software development experience within financial services.
 * Experience working in Trading & Capital Markets or Investment Banking
 * Strong understanding of exchange-traded derivatives and the full trading lifecycle.
 * Knowledge of major global futures exchanges and their native protocols.
 * Excellent understanding of multithreaded, asynchronous and distributed software development.
 * Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures and performance optimisation.
 * Experience with Python, C#, SQL or other scripting/programming languages.
 * A track record of delivering reliable, production-grade applications and deployment best practices.
 * Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
 * The ability to thrive in a fast-paced trading environment with changing priorities.

## Description

* Developing low-latency exchange connectivity using native exchange APIs and protocols including FIX, WebSockets and HTTP.
 * Building and enhancing high-performance trading algorithms alongside traders and quantitative analysts.
 * Optimising application performance through techniques such as kernel bypass, TLS optimisation and connection tuning.
 * Investigating production issues, improving system reliability and resolving performance bottlenecks.
 * Maintaining and extending automated testing frameworks to ensure software quality.
 * Supporting releases, deployments and continuous improvements across the global trading platform.
