## About the Role

The primary focus of the project will be migrating services from a single AWS account to a multi-account AWS environment. This is a hands-on development role, so we are looking for someone with strong Java coding skills who is comfortable writing, reviewing, testing and monitoring production-quality code., * Strong commercial Java development experience

 * Strong hands-on coding ability
 * Experience with Spring Boot
 * Good knowledge of AWS services and cloud environments
 * Experience writing and maintaining unit tests
 * Experience reviewing code and working within established development standards
 * Experience monitoring applications and investigating logs
 * Experience working with Grafana dashboards
 * Comfortable troubleshooting application and service issues

## Description

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a 6-month contract supporting an AWS migration programme., Day-to-Day Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

 * Designing and writing high-quality Java code
 * Reviewing code produced by other developers
 * Developing and maintaining unit tests
 * Monitoring services and application performance
 * Working with Grafana dashboards
 * Reviewing logs and investigating issues
 * Supporting the migration of services from a single AWS account to a multi-account AWS structure
 * Working collaboratively with the wider engineering team throughout the migration
