## About the Role

* Strong hands-on data centre experience
 * Server/storage installation and decommissioning
 * Rack and stack / deracking
 * SAN, Ethernet and fibre connectivity
 * Hardware asset management / CMDB
 * Experience working within controlled technical environments
 * Current SC security clearance

## Description

* Decommission and remove server and storage hardware
 * Rack, derack and safely handle data centre equipment
 * Trace and disconnect Ethernet, fibre, SAN and power connectivity
 * Securely handle HDDs, SSDs and other data-bearing media
 * Maintain hardware, asset and CMDB records
 * Follow formal change-control and security procedures
 * Identify dependencies and escalate issues appropriately
