## About the Role

Essential Skills & Experience

 * Strong commercial experience developing software applications in Python.
 * Hands-on experience building AI or LLM-powered applications.
 * Good understanding of:

 * Agentic AI frameworks
 * Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
 * Large Language Models (LLMs)
 * AI application design patterns

Experience working with cloud platforms, ideally AWS.

Strong software engineering fundamentals, including:

 * Application architecture and design
 * CI/CD pipelines
 * Testing and deployment best practices
 * Secure software development principles

Ability to contribute to technical design discussions and solution development.

Strong problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset.

Desirable Experience

 * Experience with AWS Bedrock, LangGraph and/or LangSmith.
 * Frontend development experience.
 * Exposure to Information Security or secure software development environments.
 * Experience working on AI transformation, automation or productivity-focused initiatives.
 * Knowledge of low-level architecture and system design principles.

## Description

As a Senior AI Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing and building AI-native applications that automate and enhance critical Information Security and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes. This is a rare opportunity to work at the forefront of agentic AI, helping deliver innovative solutions that have a measurable impact across the business.

Working within a highly skilled engineering team, you'll contribute to the design, development, deployment and continuous improvement of cutting-edge AI solutions powered by modern cloud and AI technologies.

What You'll Be Doing

 * Designing and developing AI-native applications using Python and modern AI frameworks.
 * Building intelligent, agent-based solutions that automate and optimise security and software engineering processes.
 * Developing scalable solutions leveraging AWS, Bedrock, LangGraph and LangSmith.
 * Contributing to solution design and technical decision-making within an established architecture.
 * Collaborating with engineers, security specialists and stakeholders to deliver high-quality AI solutions.
 * Driving engineering best practices across application development, testing and deployment.
 * Supporting the continuous evolution of our AI capabilities through research, experimentation and innovation.
 * Contributing to backlog refinement, technical planning and delivery activities.
