* Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
 * Proven experience in engineering design and technical calculations
 * Hands-on with CAD (ideally 3D) and AutoCAD
 * Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and Schindler's design tools: Drive, Rail, Car Weight Calculation, LBLC, LiftDesigner, CREO Parametrics/Simulate, PNC, MODB, and Lotus Notes
 * Customer-focused, results-driven, and a strong communicator

 * Coordinate resources to achieve financial, quality, and efficiency targets-delivering solutions with first pass yield and on-time delivery.
 * Champion customer-centric support, keeping stakeholders informed and empowered with knowledge of our products and tools
 * Design and engineer both custom and pre-engineered lift solutions, from initial concept through to delivery
 * Produce detailed process calculations, design specifications, and layout drawings to the highest standards
 * Perform final configuration, generate bills of materials, and prevent costly gaps in the process
