A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not required. Relevant experience and certifications such as Network+, Security+, Microsoft certifications or CCNA will also be considered. Additional Experience We Value Experience with any of the following will help you stand out: * Ubiquiti UniFi Network, switching, wireless and gateway products * Cisco Meraki Dashboard, wireless, switching and security appliances * Cisco enterprise networking technologies * Aruba networking and wireless technologies * Wireless RF design and troubleshooting * Wireless site surveys and heat-map analysis * Multi-site network deployments * Network security and firewall configuration * Remote troubleshooting and support of field technicians * Enterprise network documentation and diagrams Certifications Industry certifications are valued and may include: * Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) * Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP or CCNP Wireless) * Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) or other CWNP certifications * Aruba networking or wireless certifications * Other relevant networking, wireless or security certifications A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is preferred; however, equivalent hands-on experience and demonstrated technical expertise will also be considered. Travel & Physical Requirements Most customer activity is within the Memphis metropolitan area, with occasional travel outside the area. Some customer engagements may require walking throughout large facilities and navigating stairs or other changes in elevation. ## Description This position is ideal for an IT professional with a strong systems administration background who is also comfortable supporting network infrastructure. You do not need to be a senior network engineer, but you should understand how servers, endpoints, Microsoft environments and networks work together and be comfortable troubleshooting across all of them. Technic provides telecom, networking, infrastructure and technology services to SMB and enterprise customers across the United States, including healthcare organizations, corporate facilities and federal facilities.
