 * Associate's degree (AS/AA) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience.
 * High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience.

Certifications

 * IAT-2 certification required.
 * One or more cloud certifications required.

## Description

The Systems Engineer 3 is responsible for the systems engineering, design, integration, and technical development of cloud-based services and solutions. This role requires a strong systems engineering background combined with hands-on experience designing and engineering scalable, reliable cloud environments., * Design and engineer cloud-based services, systems, and infrastructure to meet mission and technical requirements.

 * Develop and evaluate cloud system architectures, interfaces, and technical solutions.
 * Apply systems engineering principles to requirements analysis, system integration, verification and validation, supportability, effectiveness analyses, and technical trade studies.
 * Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies for hardware and software specifications.
 * Engineer solutions that support scalability, reliability, performance, and the health of distributed cloud systems and virtual machines.
 * Drive the stability, sustainability, and continuous improvement of cloud-based systems through engineering solutions and technical analysis.
 * Utilize trends, metrics, and performance data to identify opportunities to improve existing frameworks, tools, processes, and cloud services.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve systems functionality, performance, configuration, and integration issues.
 * Work across hardware, software, networks, virtualized environments, and cloud services to define and integrate end-to-end solutions.
