Desired Skills * Preferred Certifications in the following: + Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional ScrumMaster (PSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or equivalent Agile certification. + Project Management Professional (PMP) + SAFe Certification 6.0 + ITIL Practitioner Certification and ITIL Foundations Certification * Prior project administration / management experience * Hands-on experience and/or knowledge of Atlassian's Jira and Confluence * Familiarity with SAFe or Agile practices within large-scale enterprise or government environments. * Experience: + Serving as a ScrumMaster or Agile Team Facilitator for infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, or enterprise IT programs. + Supporting DoD or Federal IT program or Cyber Security Programs/Customers + Developing Agile metrics and reporting for leadership. ## Description This position is primarily responsible for supporting centralized SUNet Cyber Infrastructure administration and coordination initiatives while championing Agile best practices across the team., Duties include, but are not limited to: * Serve as the ScrumMaster for one or more Agile development teams, ensuring Scrum principles, SAFe practices, and Agile methodologies are consistently understood, adopted, and followed. * Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Release Planning, and Program Increment (PI) Planning. * Partner with Product Owners, Agile Coaches, and stakeholders to define, refine, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint priorities. * Champion Agile best practices and coach teams to foster collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and a high-performing Agile culture. * Act as a servant leader by removing impediments, resolving conflicts, managing dependencies, and enabling teams to successfully deliver sprint and program objectives. * Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate requirements, translating business needs into actionable user stories and backlog items. * Manage Jira, Confluence, and other Agile tools to maintain sprint and product backlogs, track work, and provide transparency into team progress. * Develop, monitor, and communicate Agile metrics, dashboards, sprint velocity, burndown charts, release status, and other delivery metrics to leadership and stakeholders. * Coordinate: * Multiple application development efforts and cross-functional initiatives within a fast-paced DevSecOps environment. * Maintenance Window activities, ticket management, change implementation, and post-maintenance reporting. Track and manage risks, issues, dependencies, action items, and blockers, proactively driving them to resolution. Support: * The planning, coordination, and implementation of new capabilities that enhance mission assurance and operational management functions. * Daily operational activities for SUNet leadership and technical teams through cross-functional coordination and collaboration across matrixed organizations. Prepare executive briefings, status reports, presentations, and communications for program leadership and Government stakeholders. Organize and facilitate meetings by preparing agendas, documenting decisions, capturing meeting minutes, tracking action items, and ensuring timely follow-up. Assist project and program managers with planning, scheduling, milestone tracking, documentation, quality reviews, and overall project execution. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process documentation, knowledge management artifacts, and other program documentation. Build strong partnerships across engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, program management, and customer organizations to ensure priorities remain aligned and mission objectives are achieved. Other duties, as assigned. Note: Salary is commensurate with skillset, qualifications, experience, and educational background.
