(One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required) * Experience: * 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, network engineering, and security operations. * Experience with ticketing systems, remote support tools, and troubleshooting in a corporate IT environment. * Experience implementing Zero Trust architecture, SASE platforms, and Identity and Access Management (IAM). * Hands-on background with network automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Python) and Infrastructure as Code methodologies. * Other Requirements: * U.S. Citizenship required. * Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (Active Secret preferred). * Ability to obtain and maintain CMMC Level 2 certification. * Ability to travel to project and customer locations as needed. * Skills and Technology Used: * Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and network topology. * Proficiency with network management software (FMC, Panorama, FortiManager, Meraki) and monitoring software (SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, Science Logic). * Familiarity with SDWAN, Viptela, ION, and cross-cloud integrations (Azure Network Security Group, Microsoft Entra). * Knowledge of machine identity management and ZTNA policy design for AI agents and automated systems. * Troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite, including SharePoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel. ## Description What You'll Do: * Working across the globe, V2X brings innovation to every point in the mission lifecycle, from preparation, to operations, to sustainment. This role focuses on implementing, configuring, and maintaining a modern, self-adapting, AI-optimized network that serves as the transport backbone for the organization's enterprise AI Fabric. The engineer will be responsible for deploying Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) capabilities, enforcing a Zero Trust architecture, and configuring virtual and physical devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
