* Associate degree (2-year degree) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering,

Required

 * Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Information Technology support role.
 * Effective problem solver
 * Experience troubleshooting production floor systems and related technologies.
 * Effective communicator (written, spoken, peers, operators, managers)
 * Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments, networking, and databases

Preferred

 * Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or automotive environments.
 * Experience troubleshooting production floor systems and related technologies.
 * Highly proficient in use of Office 365 applications
 * Proficient in use of Microsoft SQL Database and Microsoft Windows servers
 * 2+ years Cisco Network administration experience

## Description

* Configure, maintain, control, troubleshoot and monitor the facilities MES shop floor software, database and related production systems software and hardware.
 * Support and maintain Microsoft Windows server environments and related infrastructure.
 * Assist with the administration and support of Local Area Networks (LAN), wireless networks, and connected devices.
 * Monitor system performance and availability
 * Provide technical support for plant IT infrastructure, production systems, and end-user computing environments.
 * Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and manufacturing system issues using logical and analytical problem-solving methods.
 * to ensure uninterrupted business and production operations.
 * Create and maintain SQL queries, reports, and database-related solutions to support operational requirements.
 * Assist with software deployments, system upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.
 * Coordinate and support IT projects, system implementations, and equipment installations.
 * Follow and enforce corporate IT policies, procedures, and cybersecurity requirements.
 * Participate in on-call support rotations and provide off-shift support as needed.
 * Document troubleshooting activities, system changes, and technical procedures.
 * Work independently or with Corporate IT and business stakeholders to quickly resolve issues and implement technology solutions.
 * May be required to support both the Troy and Auburn Hills locations
 * Provide technical guidance and training to users as required
