## Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Data Center Controls Engineer to design, implement, and support building management and industrial control systems across AWS data centers. You will develop and optimize PLC- and BAS-based controls for power and cooling, integrate monitoring/telemetry, and ensure high availability, resiliency, and safety. Responsibilities include reviewing designs, commissioning systems, troubleshooting incidents, driving root-cause analysis, and standardizing solutions across regions. You will collaborate with operations, networking, and security teams, applying data-driven insights to improve performance and energy efficiency at scale., * Design and support data center building management and industrial control systems

 * Develop, program, and optimize PLC and BAS logic for power and cooling systems
 * Review and validate controls design documents, drawings, and sequence of operations
 * Lead commissioning, testing, and integration of new controls systems and upgrades
 * Monitor system performance, respond to incidents, and perform root-cause analysis
 * Implement improvements to reliability, availability, and energy efficiency
 * Collaborate with operations, networking, and security teams on cross-functional projects
 * Maintain documentation, standards, and change management for controls systems
 * Ensure compliance with safety, electrical, and industry standards
 * Support scaling of standardized controls solutions across multiple regions
