## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master's preferred)
 * 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering
 * Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners
 * Strong understanding of networking and system administration
 * Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls
 * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
 * Strong communication and leadership abilities, * Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM
 * Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
 * Knowledge of application security and secure coding practices
 * Experience with compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.)

## Description

Our client is seeking a hands-on Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to help strengthen and scale cybersecurity programs and initiatives across their organization. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing security solutions to protect critical assets and infrastructure., * Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and procedures

 * Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans
 * Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security controls
 * Respond to security incidents and conduct forensic analysis
 * Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
 * Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior cybersecurity professionals
 * Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate security into all phases of the software development lifecycle
