Utilizing a hybrid on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure, the technician will provision, orchestrate, and control network transport services while serving as the primary interface for processing user service requests. Their daily activities include monitoring the health, status, and performance of all ground and space assets to ensure end-to-end service performance and maintain a common operational picture for enterprise-wide situational awareness. Operating within a Government-Owned, Contractor-Operated (GOCO) framework, the technician ensures the network remains adaptable and integrated by following a Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA). The day-to-day As an SDN MOC Technician, you'll: * Monitor the health of the network and respond to support requests, alarms, alerts, and troubleshooting needs in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and MOC supervisory guidance * Respond to alerts and work with SDN-B MOC DevOps teams to fix anomalies in the network within the MOC boundaries * Perform all preventative and corrective maintenance to meet or exceed the specified system availability requirements * Engage in specialized training to enhance MOC Technician skills.
