## About the Role

Must be skilled in the following areas:

 * One to two years of software development experience with a focus on Android; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
 * Programming in Java, Kotlin, or C/C++.
 * Android development, including familiarity with the Android SDK, Android Studio, and the Android ecosystem.
 * Strong communication skills, the ability to learn independently, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
 * U.S. citizenship., * prior Department of Defense experience.
 * Experience with Linux or Windows.
 * Familiarity with web applications or microservices development.
 * Familiarity with Army tactical equipment, including tactical radios, commercial off the shelf radios, handheld devices, and vehicle devices.
 * Knowledge of network management protocols and data models.
 * Familiarity with Agile software development processes.

Clearance:

 * Active security clearance.

Education and Experience:

 * Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Mathematics.
 * One to two years of Android focused software development experience; recent graduates may apply.

## Description

Tech(x) seeks an entry level Android software developer to support U.S. Army DEVCOM C5ISR Center programs at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. The role involves software development in a multidisciplinary, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities

 * Design and build applications for the Android platform.
 * Develop software applications, services, and systems.
 * Integrate software components into a complex software development environment.
 * Collaborate with team members to review architecture designs, system requirements, and code.
 * Work with external data sources and APIs.
 * Unit test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and reliability.
 * And all other duties as assigned.
