 * Experience in software security

 * Core services: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, Fargate, Step Functions, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, CloudFront
 * CloudWatch and Splunk for monitoring and troubleshooting
 * IAM, security services, and VPC networking
 * Programming & Development
 * Java, Spring Boot, JPA
 * Frontend applications: Angular
 * RESTful API design and microservices architecture
 * CI/CD pipelines (GitLab exposure preferred)

## Description

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Senior Java Developer for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Regulatory clients in Rockville, MD or Tysons, VA.
Responsibilities :

 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions that meet business requirements
 * Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
 * Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to best practices
 * Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical strategy
 * Support production systems and troubleshoot complex technical issues
 * Defines technical solutions or operational processes to improve efficiency
 * Strong experience with Java and Angular
