## About the Role

## Description

The IT Helpdesk Technician plays a key role in delivering dependable, customer-focused technical support to end users across the organization. This position is Contract-to-Hire and provides Tier 1-2 assistance for Microsoft environments, end-user devices, and core IT services, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations. Position is 100% onsite at the InVeris' Alpharetta office. Occasional visits to the Duluth office are also necessary.

Essential Duties, Specifications, Core Competencies:

 * Ability to troubleshoot hardware AND software
 * Active Directory Administration
 * Microsoft Office 365 administration
 * Cell Phone support to help everyone that will have issues getting email/teams set up on their phone due to the move of offices

Physical and Work Requirements:

 * Ability to assist in installing servers into APC racks

Other Duties:

 1. Deploy MS Windows Defender Console and configure endpoints
 2. Create MS Windows Server 2019 VMs
 3. Review and optimize Office 365 bases SharePoint sites
 4. Investigate existing WSUS deployment and fix issues or recommend replacement
