This role involves designing, implementing, and supporting SharePoint solutions that align with business needs while maintaining high availability and security standards. The administrator will work closely with stakeholders, IT teams and end-users to troubleshoot issues, deploy updates, and enhance system performance. Additionally, the role requires continuous monitoring of system health, managing permissions, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices. Ultimately, the SharePoint Systems Administrator will play a critical role in enabling efficient digital workflows and supporting the organization's information management strategy. What you'll do: * Quantitative Data Collection and Reporting: Retrieve SharePoint usage data on a weekly cadence to extract, log, and analyze quantitative metrics-including unique site views and active users-within the designated Knowledge Portal Usage Metrics framework. * Technical and Liaison Services: Serve as the functional liaison to Information Management & Technology (IM&T) delivery teams to coordinate platform configurations, manage system dependencies, align data architecture, and enforce security protocols. * Platform Administration and Governance: Administer SharePoint site settings, maintain role-based access controls, optimize document retrieval pathways, and enforce approved artificial intelligence (AI) governance guardrails. * Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Development: Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive portal documentation, including user and administrator training materials, SOPs, quick start guides, and platform governance instructions. * Release Coordination and Performance Monitoring: Support platform technical deployments by coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), assessing release readiness, monitoring platform performance, and maintaining scheduled delivery cadences. What's Required: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * An active Secret Clearance.
