Responsibilities: We are seeking a Senior Software Developer with expertise in secure software engineering and Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes. The candidate will develop secure applications, conduct security assessments, and support A&A efforts in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to safeguard customer assets. The team primarily develops in C# and .NET. Candidates with strong experience in Java or another object-oriented programming language are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate should be able to become productive in C# within the first several months., * Minimum 6+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years focused on security engineering and A&A processes. * Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent professional experience. * Strong proficiency in an object-oriented programming language such as C#, Java, Kotlin, or C++. * Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and common software design patterns. * Experience developing and supporting business or enterprise applications. * Experience with source control, code reviews, testing, debugging, and the Software Development Lifecycle * Experience working with relational databases, web services, or application integrations. * Ability to learn new programming languages, frameworks, and systems. * Knowledge of A&A processes, including identifying and addressing security incidents and compliance issues. * Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Desired Qualifications: * Experience with C# and .NET. * Experience with PowerShell or another scripting language. * Experience developing web APIs, Windows services, desktop applications, or web applications. * Experience with Microsoft Windows and IIS environments. * Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments. * Experience working with AWS and Azure * Experience using GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, and Confluence * Familiarity with secure software development practices. * Familiarity with Agile development methods. * Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and AI-enabled application capabilities, including the secure use and validation of generated code and content. ## Description At Bcore, our strength comes from how we deliver impact to the mission.
