This role defines architectural standards across physical, virtual, and cloud environments and ensures seamless integration across applications, servers, networks, and storage platforms. The Enterprise Architect serves as a senior technical leader, providing expert-level support for complex infrastructure initiatives and mission-critical systems. This role assists IS Directors and leadership with understanding and implementing technical and process standards and supports department budget planning and management. Essential Functions of the Role * Designs and maintains enterprise infrastructure architectures, including virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware) and data center environments. * Leads performance analysis, capacity planning, and availability assessments to support business continuity and growth. * Maintains a portfolio roadmap aligned with clinical, operational, and IT objectives. * Implements infrastructure security best practices and ensures compliance with organizational policies and industry standards in collaboration with Information Security teams. * Evaluates emerging technologies and vendor solutions and contributes to long-term infrastructure and modernization roadmaps. * Collaborates with network, storage, database, application, and business teams to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions aligned with organizational needs. * Develops and maintains architectural diagrams, system documentation, and operational standards. * Promotes consistency and operational efficiency across the Enterprise Platforms organization, including leading concept definition, strategy, design, deployment, and ongoing process management. * Leads the design and deployment of large-scale systems, including disaster recovery, storage, power, and operating system and software configurations. * Serves as a subject matter expert across multiple technical domains, including virtualization, automation, system security, performance optimization, and disaster recovery. * Leads technical aspects of infrastructure projects, communicates progress and risks, and coordinates with stakeholders. * Maintains system performance metrics, growth projections, and operational reporting, Title: Senior.
